Groundwater levels are measured in the YCFCWCD's 150 well network each spring and fall. The graph above shows the average groundwater level of the wells with long periods-of-record. This spring's 2021 levels showed minimal recovery, as expected, after a dry winter and spring.

As expected, not much recharge. A typical scenario for a dry winter with below average precipitation.
