On January 21, the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) released the finalized Land Subsidence Best Management Practices (BMP) document. This document is meant to provide guidance to local water agencies for addressing land subsidence and to help GSAs meet objectives set by the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act to avoid or minimize current and future impacts of subsidence. Click here to view the full press release.
